Increased comfort
Just like the sun’s rays, radiant heating produces a soft and enveloping warmth.
By heating objects instead of the surrounding air, the system provides indirect heat that radiates from the unit and is absorbed by surrounding objects, warming the entire room.
Ambient air eventually becomes warm, but comfort level is not dependent on air temperature. You can actually lower the thermostat and enjoy increased comfort at lower temperature settings, which saves you money.
Types of radiation
Radiant heaters in the Opera series also diffuse a portion of the heat by convection, to provide you with the best of both worlds:
1 – The comfort of radiant heat.
2 – The efficiency of effective convection.
A perfect solution for rooms that are difficult to heat
Thanks to radiant heating, the Opera series is the ideal solution to heat rooms with greater heat loss such as:
- Sunrooms
- Rooms with big windows
- Rooms with high ceiling
It is also the favorite for those who are cold sensitive!
Technologies that help you save energy
The Opera radiant heaters are equipped with the most cutting-edge technology, such as an absence detector and programmable built-in electronic thermostat to help you reduce your heating bills. Choose from one of the preset programs, customize your own, or let the absence detector take care of lowering the temperature for you!
The open-window detection feature also avoids wasting energy by stopping the heater when a sudden influx of cold air is detected.
Comfort perfectly suited to any space
The Opera radiant panels are offered in three different profiles:
- Opéra12: Low profile with a height of 11 3/16’’.
Ideal for installation under a window or other wall space with height restrictions.
- Opéra17: Medium profile with a height of 17 5/16’’.
Suitable for most installations without specific constraints.
- Opéra46: High profile with a height varying from 33 3/8’’ to 45 11/16’’.
Ideal for installation in narrow spaces; between two windows or on a column for example.
So there is really no reason to do without it!
