Scotchlok™ Moisture guard connector. Moisture-resistant connector that works with thicker 14 AWG irrigation wire. Simple and easy to use, no stripping required. Construction: UV-resistant polycarbonate body, tin plated brass element, TPE barrier cap and mineral oil base EG3 grease. Scotchlok™ moisture guard connector allows contractor to remove a step from connecting process. Due to 3M's IDC technology, no wire stripping is required prior to inserting into connector. The moisture guard connector is also UV resistant despite its clear body, providing protection from the sun for above ground applications which the grease on the inside of the connector protects the connection from moisture. Moisture guard connector is designed for use in the installation and repair of irrigation and landscape lighting systems or other applications requiring moisture and UV protection. The connector will connect and provide protection for two or three conductors.
