In-Pipe miser is an energy efficient in-pipe heat trace cable for pipe freeze protection of insulated plastic potable water lines. The Raychem In-Pipe miser heat trace cables are designed for the cottage industry or installations where the water supply pipes are buried or cannot be accessed and are subject to freezing. This unique solution heats the pipe from the inside. Energy efficiency is achieved by the combination of low heat and an electronic temperature controller that turns on the heating cable when heat is needed.
