The Thomas & Betts TBM14CR-LI hydraulic crimper is a compact battery power crimping tool with 14 ton capabilities, which is used for installing color-keyed connectors for conductors from 8 AWG through 900 KCMIL copper lugs and splices as well as 750 KCMIL aluminium lugs and splices. The T&B cable crimper rotating head provides maximum flexibility for crimping and approximately 150 crimps can be performed per full battery charge. The lithium-ion battery (14.4 V) offers lighter weight, longer run time, no memory effect, minimal discharge and rapid recharge of the crimp tool. Green, orange and red colors serve as indicators of complete crimp compression. The Thomas & Betts TBM14CR-LI hydraulic crimper kit includes the crimping tool, 2 batteries, battery charger, instruction sheets and carrying case.
