Labyrinth construction seals motor and bearings from contamination. Electronic current limiter protects motor from accidental overload. Thumb switch conveniently located for operator comfort. Removable side handle can be mounted on left or right side of tool. Tool-less wheel guard adjustment. Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) automatically shuts down the tool if there is a sudden drop in rotation speed (e.g. kick-back). Anti-restart feature prevents accidental start up of tool during battery changing when switch is locked in the on position. Soft start feature gradually increases speed to eliminate start up shock.
